South-West Hernia & Abdominal Wall Repair (AWR) Symposium, Torquay – 11th & 12th September 2025

A 2-day symposium platforming current updates and techniques in abdominal wall reconstruction, parastomal hernia, inguinal hernia, emergency and robotics is taking place in the beautiful English Riviera town of Torquay on September 11th -12th. This event is accredited by ALSGBI, the Roux group and ASGBI with CPD points.

This symposium is aimed at consultants as well as higher surgical trainees who have an interest in the advancing field of abdominal wall reconstruction, incisional hernia repair and difficult emergency abdominal closure. We also dedicated a session to groin hernia repair issues such as non-mesh repair, chronic pain and guidelines. The symposium will be delivered by a faculty of experts in the field who will be providing delegates with the latest updates, tips and tricks and techniques for this surgery.
Abstracts welcome on any of these topics (AWR, parastomal hernia, inguinal hernia, emergency hernia repair and robotic hernia).
