Excellently run course by Mr Paraoan and his team.
Ratio of 1 simulator to 1 participant which meant we all had ample opportunity for practicing basic laparoscopic skills.
Ample number of very knowledgable and experienced faculty facilitating the day to advise on tips and tricks to improve laparoscopic skills.
Supported by Innovus with augmented reality simulators and opportunity to practice simulated appendicectomy using the AR simulator.
Would highly recommend this course for junior trainees (FY1 through to CST)
Wonderful day, excellent organisation, Great trainers giving useful tips and frequent 1-to-1 feedback. Great 1-to-1 facilities were provided to enable plenty of practice time, and maximise practice during the day.
Great chance to get detailed feedback of skills using an AR laparoscopic appendicectomy trainer from Inovus
Great provision for use and practice with live diathermy for practicing using J hook diathermy on a flesh appendicectomy model
Good coverage of 30 degree laparoscopic camera skills with standardised testing and timing.
Overall a fun and informative day to augment and introduce laparoscopic skills to junior staff (FY1 to CST2) keen on surgery.
