During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the ALSGBI has always been committed to support our members. As we are now coming out of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to write to you to follow up the surgical response to the first wave and to canvas your views on current surgical and educational issues during this difficult time. The ALSGBI would like to assure our members that we are pivoting to support our members with all the help we can. This is aimed to evaluate the current situation in relation to the second wave of the pandemic and to identify issues with surgical practice in general and MIS in particular. The survey is also designed to identify gaps in knowledge, resources, evidence and or psychological support in your practice. The outcome of this survey will be shared with all our members across our website and it will also inform a number of ALSGBI task forces to develop projects that can assist you.
