Nottingham is conveniently situated at the very centre of the UK, with excellent air, rail and road links. The EMCC is located approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) from the centre of Nottingham.

Nottingham is well served by three airports, for domestic and European flights. East Midlands Airport is just 14 miles from the city centre and a direct bus service, Skylink, departs every 30 minutes to the city centre, Birmingham International Airport and Coventry Airport are both within a sixty minute drive time of Nottingham. Flybe, Thomson and Ryanair are the main operators from East Midlands Airport, which also includes bmi, bmibaby, Easy Jet, Ryanair and Sterling airlines.

Nottingham is very convenient to get to by train. East Midlands Trains services operate between Liverpool and London St Pancras stations and Central Trains serve the Midlands region.

Please note that the nearest train station to the EMCC is Beeston Station which is served by some London & local services. Nottingham station is only 10–15 minutes by taxi.

EUROSTAR
Nottingham’s direct rail link with London St Pancras Eurostar terminal means you can travel from the heart of Paris to the Centre of Nottingham in just under five hours.

BY ROAD
The M1 is just six miles from Nottingham city centre with junctions 24–26 (A453, A610 and A52 respectively) giving quick and easy access from the motorway.

TO THE EMCC BY CAR
Located only 4 miles (6.4 km) from the centre of Nottingham the ‘drive time’ to the EMCC is 10 minutes in light traffic and 20 minutes plus in ‘rush hour’.

From the M1 North to EMCC, University Park
Leave the M1 motorway at junction 26 and follow the A610 signposted to Nottingham. After approximately 2.5 miles turn right at the lights on to the A6514 Nottingham ring road (Western Boulevard). Follow the A6514 to Middleton Boulevard and then take the slip road towards the Queen’s Medical Centre roundabout. Take the third exit at the roundabout on to the A52, Derby Road. Turn left at the next roundabout (Toby Carvery) on to the A6464 Woodside Road.  Turn left at the next roundabout to enter the University Park’s West Entrance.

From the M1 South to University Park
Leave the M1 motorway at junction 25 and follow the A52 signposted to Nottingham. After approximately 4.4 miles turn right at the roundabout (Toby Carvery) on to the A6464 Woodside Road. Turn left at the next roundabout to enter the University Park’s West Entrance.
