ACPGBI/ALSGBI Laparoscopic Colorectal Clinical Fellows

Since February 2004, Ethicon Endo-Surgery have been supporting Laparoscopic Colorectal Fellowships with the aim of contributing to the safe adoption of this new surgical intervention. Each fellowship lasts for six months during which time the fellow learns to perform laparoscopic colorectal surgery with the aim of completing fifty resections as the lead operator.

Seventy six fellows have now progressed through the ACPGBI/ALSGBI programme, becoming consultant surgeons and setting up a laparoscopic service for the benefit of patients, payers and providers.

We are proud to announce the latest successful candidates to be appointed as a fellow for the periods from April 2011 to September 2011 and October 2011 through to 2012.
